PARENTS SURVIVING SUICIDE – This Denver metro area group meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Bethany Lutheran Church, Room 210, 4500 E. Hampden Avenue. The Compassionate Friends – Grief support after the death of a child with chapters throughout the country including Colorado local chapters.

The Grief Support Network – Transforming how communities perceive, experience and move through loss. Their vision is a culture that does not run from grief but embraces it as an opportunity for growth and connection.

The Dougy Center (the National Center for Grieving Children and Families based in Portland, Oregon) publishes resources for helping children and teens who are grieving the death of a parent, sibling, or friend. Call 1-866-775-5683 for assistance.

NAMI Boulder County – Support Groups — If you or someone you know is struggling, you are not alone. There are NAMI and community support groups in the Boulder and Broomfield counties available for you to attend. These support groups are valuable tools for coping.
